Several notable WWE Superstars have been removed from advertising material for the 2022 Money In the Bank Premium Live Event.
Money In the Bank will be moved from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, which is only across town, as WWE revealed earlier today. Saturday, July 2 is still the date for the event.
An revised advertising graphic for Money In the Bank was included in WWE’s email to ticketholders to inform the change, however some key Superstars were omitted.
Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, WWE 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke, Riddle, RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, The Miz, Rhea Ripley, and The Street Profits are all included on the new MITB promotional poster, which can be seen below.
McIntyre, Brooke, Belair, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bobby Lashley, and Kofi Kingston were all included on the original MITB promotional poster.
The names of Reigns, Lesnar, Rousey, Flair, Lynch, Styles, Banks, Lashley, and Kingston have been removed from the re-issued poster today. There’s no news yet on what this signifies, if anything, for the upcoming card.
The night will feature the men’s and women’s MITB ladder fights, but WWE has yet to announce any traditional matches for Money In the Bank. Riddle vs. Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship is also speculated, but not confirmed.
