Samoa Joe Makes Big Return on WWE NXT

This week, WWE is making even more significant talent and executive cuts.

The organization released multiple WWE Performance Center and NXT performers on Wednesday, as well as a number of office personnel, including executives, writers, producers, and coaches. They are:

  • William Regal
  • Dave Kapoor (NXT executive formerly known as Ranjin Singh in WWE storylines)
  • Ryan Katz (NXT creative producer)
  • Scott Armstrong (veteran wrestler and referee who has worked as WWE producer and more recently, NXT producer)
  • George Carroll (NXT producer and creative writer)
  • Christopher Guy (formerly known to wrestling fans as Ace Steel who worked as NXT producer and WWE Performance Center coach)
  • Sarah Cummins (Senior Vice President of Consumer Producers)
  • Brian James (formerly known as Road Dogg to WWE Attitude Era fans who has been working as a producer and agent)

WWE is also said to have reached an agreement on the release of four more wrestlers.

The following WWE and NXT Superstars were also released from the organisation this week, according to several sources:

  • Timothy Thatcher
  • Danny Burch
  • Diamond Mine recruit (Hideki Suzuki)
  • Cathy Corino (Allison Danger)

WWE released the following statement on the NXT/PC cuts earlier today, for those who missed it:

“With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.”
