Bill Goldberg, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, is a free agent.
According to a recent article from Fightful Select, Goldberg’s WWE contract terminated at the end of 2022 and there was no agreement to extend or renew it.
Since that time, Goldberg has been formally unsigned.
The 56-year-old Goldberg only competed in one match in the previous year, falling to Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, at Elimination Chamber in February 2022. There were still 10 months left in the contract at that time, but Goldberg had no more scheduled contests.
As was said before, Goldberg asserted that WWE owed him a retirement match. He also made light of the idea of doing a match in Israel by himself.
