Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul Made Official For Crown Jewel 2022

Roman Reigns will officially face Logan Paul in a title matchup to defend his WWE Universal Championship at Saudi Arabia Crown Jewel 2022

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H announced the match for the Crown Jewel pay-per-view at today’s press conference in Las Vegas. On November 5, the Saudi Arabian city of Riyadh will host Crown Jewel. For American viewers, Peacock will stream the event; for international viewers, WWE Network.

Paul challenged Reigns to a face-to-face meeting at a press conference in Las Vegas on the “SmackDown” episode airing on September 16. Prior to the show’s conclusion, Paul, a well-known YouTuber, stated that he wanted to face Reigns on his podcast, “Impaulsive,” which included Reigns as a guest last month.

On June 30, Paul signed with WWE. He most recently faced The Miz in a match of professional wrestling at SummerSlam, which he won by pinning Miz with his own manoeuvre, the Skull Crushing Finale. As already mentioned, he and Miz faced up against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Miz hit Paul with the Skull Crushing Finale after winning the match.

Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at the Crown Jewel of the previous year, retaining the WWE Universal Title. Since August 2020, he had held the title of WWE Universal Champion. After winning a Winner Takes All match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 Night 2 on April 3, Reigns went on to become the undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns retained the championship against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle on September 3 in one of his most recent contests.
