Jeff Hardy, a WWE superstar, recently spoke with Sportskeeda to promote tonight’s Survivor Series pay per view and to discuss a variety of pro-wrestling topics, including what ambitions he still has to achieve in his career. The following are some of the highlights from the interview.
Ideally, he’d like to face Roman Reigns:
“I guess there are three [goals] that I think about the most. One of my dream matchups would be to be the Universal Champion and defeat Roman Reigns, because his stuff is so powerful. Now that I’ve had the opportunity to work with Seth in the ring, as well as Dean Ambrose before he left when they were The Shield, it was a huge deal. So now Roman is the only one of us who has never met before. So I simply feel like I belong in that storey and will continue to belong in it.”
On introducing Willow to the WWE Universe:
“Number two is probably my alter persona, ‘Willow,’ who is kind of out there doing something different than what Bray Wyatt and The Fiend did.” But it’s something really thrilling because Willow is close to my heart and thoughts because he was my main focus before we got to WWE.”
Whether it’s in WWE or AEW, he hopes to reunite with his brother Matt:
“Then there’s the third one, which is to reunite with my brother.” Whether it’s here or over there, and over there might be anyplace, since, as you mentioned, contracts expire and people are freed on a regular basis. So, in or out of wrestling, anything is possible.”
