In Detroit, the WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff made his return to Monday Night Raw.
The Miz and Maryse’s wedding vows were renewed this week, and Bischoff was brought in to officiate. Before the huge portion later in the show, Bischoff appeared in a backstage session with Miz.
Over the previous few years, Bischoff has made sporadic appearances on AEW Dynamite. His most recent WWE appearance was during his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. For a few months in 2019, Bischoff served as the Executive Director of Friday Night SmackDown.
The vow renewal between Miz and Maryse is the newest chapter in their feud, which will culminate in Miz’s bout against Edge at Day 1 in Atlanta on Saturday.
