CM Punk and MJF Mentioned John Cena, Triple H & The Miz on AEW Dynamite (VIDEO)

On AEW Dynamite opening sequence, CM Punk and MJF made multiple references to WWE Superstars.

Punk referred to MJF as a “less famous Miz” in the back-and-forth promo, rather than the revolutionary of the pro wrestling industry that he felt he was.

Punk has gone soft and is now “PG Punk,” according to MJF, and Punk might as well be out here preaching about “hustle, loyalty, and respect,” a reference to John Cena.

When MJF subsequently remarked that Punk was always second best, whether it was to “You Can’t See Me Man” or the “King of Kings,” another Cena allusion, he was referring to Triple H.

Later, Punk questioned MJF if he thinks he’s the best in AEW. When Punk remarked that the only way MJF will be #1 is if Tony Khan has a daughter and MJF marries her, he was referring to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

MJF teased a battle with Punk, but MJF departed the ring before it could happen. In singles action, Punk defeated QT Marshall.

We don’t know when the first Punk vs. MJF match will take place, but we’ll keep you posted.
